About
Hi, I'm Katy Jacobi
I founded Stage Setter to give organisations and individuals a single, dependable partner for events of every scale, from boardroom conferences to festival fields.
With more than 25 years' experience across corporate, conference, B2B and community events, I take events from funding and planning right through to delivery and post-event reporting. I've delivered festivals, parades, fundraising and sporting events, jobs fairs, networking events, awards ceremonies and stage productions, and arranged international travel for teams and delegations. Along the way, it has been my pleasure to collaborate with committees, hundreds of volunteers, public agencies and sponsors, as well as VIP speakers, venues, performers and local businesses.
I've lived and worked in Germany, the US, Latvia, Georgia, Qatar, Kuwait and Oman, and that international outlook shapes how I work. I'm at home with different cultures, comfortable with international guests, speakers and suppliers, and fluent in English and German. I also love to try out my beginner Spanish, and a few words of Georgian, whenever I get the chance!
I hold a Diploma in Event Management from the Fitzwilliam Institute, but it's the years of hands-on, practical experience that will help set the stage for your event. Based in Co. Kerry, I work on site across Ireland and remotely wherever you are.
